Eligibility

MD/MS: The candidate must have passed the MBBS examination and should have completed satisfactorily one year of compulsory rotatory internship after passing the final MBBS Exam upto 31st March 2016 and should have permanent/provisional registration with Medical Council of India/State Medical Council

MDS: The candidate must have passed the BDS examination and should have completed satisfactorily compulsory rotatory internship as per DCI rules & regulation after passing the final BDS Exam upto 31st March 2016 and should have permanent/provisional registration with Dental council of India/State Dental Council

Medical Exam: The admitted candidates will be subjected to a medical exam of physical fitness by the medical board of the respective member institutions of the University, as per the required standards. If any candidate is found unfit, his/her admission will be cancelled and fee will be refunded

Duration: 3 years (for candidate holding PG Diploma in the same Medical subject, the course duration shall be 2 years); the duration of stay required by a candidate admitted to MD/MS/MDS degree Course shall be 36 months

Selection Procedure

Selection of the candidates shall be on the basis of the merit list of All India Pre-PG (Medical/Dental) Entrance Exam 2016 of Nims University. The selection will be based on merit-cum-choice and preference for the colleges and subjects

The students have to fill the preference chart for the colleges and subjects at the time of filling admission form

The Application Form and Prospectus can be obtained from above mentioned address during working hours in person by submitting the Demand Draft of Rs.3000/- drawn in favour of Nims University, Jaipur payable at Jaipur

If the form is required by post, send a DD of Rs.3200/-; application form can also be downloaded from the websitewww.nimsuniversity.org and send the filled-in form along with requisite fee on the above mentioned address

Issue of Admit Card

The admit card containing roll number and name of the exam centre will be sent to the candidate by Registered Post/Speed Post/Courier. In case the admit card is not received by 29th January 2016, contact the university through e-mailpgmedicalnims@gmail.com by giving name, address, telephone No., Demand Draft No., Application Form No (if provided on the Form), course chosen, etc

Duplicate admit card can be issued on the day of exam between 09.00 am to 10.00 am at the centre of exam after payment of Rs.200/-; the Centre Superintendent after confirming the identity of the candidate will issue duplicate admit card
