Issue of duplicate admission cards to those candidates: 02nd December 2015 (10.00 a.m. respective centre)

Bharati Vidyapeeth University, Pune announces DENPET-2016
The admissions to MDS Course to the Bharati Vidyapeeth University Dental College will be made on the basis of merit obtained by the candidate in dental postgraduate entrance test i.e. DENPET-2016
Duration
The University will conduct combined Entrance Test (DENPET-2016) for admission to Dental College & Hospital, Pune, Dental College & Hospital, Navi Mumbai and Dental College and Hospital, Sangli for MDS Course of three years duration

DENPET 2016 Eligibility
The Candidate must have passed BDS examination from a Dental College recognized by Dental Council of India
The candidate must have completed one-year compulsory rotating internship on or before 31st March 2016
He/she will have to produce a certificate of completion of internship before joining the course; the candidate should posses a permanent registration with any State Dental Council or Dental Council of India
For Admission to Post Graduate Dental Courses, the candidate must secure minimum 50% marks and candidate belonging to SC/ST category minimum 40% marks in the DENPET 2016
Foreign/NRI/PIO/OCI candidates seeking admission for the postgraduate program in the institution must procure temporary registration by Dental Council of India for the duration of the Postgraduate training to the dental college, which he/she is admitted
Candidates who have passed post graduate diploma course recognized by the DCI, of the duration of 2 years in particular specialty will be eligible for admission MDS in the same specialty and the duration of his/her MD courses will be 2 years
Selection Procedure for DENPET-2016
The admission to MDS course to the Bharti Vidyapeeth University Dental College will be made on the basis of merit obtained by the candidate in dental post graduate entrance test i.e. DENPET-2016
For Admission to Post Graduate Medical courses, the candidates must secure minimum 50% marks and candidates belonging to SC/ST category minimum 40% marks in the DENPET-2016
In case of candidates having equal marks in DENPET-2016 the following procedure shall be adopted as a tie-breaker
i. First preference to the candidates on the basis of higher marks obtained in the final BDS exam
ii. In case of equal marks in the (1) above, preference will be decided on grand total of marks secured by the candidate at I, II and III final BDS exams
iii. If equal, preference shall be decided on the basis of total marks obtained by the candidate at the XII Std. Exam in Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects taken together
iv. If equal, preference shall be decided on the basis of total marks obtained by the candidate in the X Std. exam
Exam Pattern for DENPET-2016
The exam will be of 3 hours duration and will consist of one question paper of 200 marks consisting of 200 questions; the test is of objective type; the candidate will be provided with a sealed Test Booklet and an Answer Sheet
The candidate will write with ball point pen the required information regarding: Name and Roll Number on the Test Booklet and on the Answer Sheet. In the Test Booklet, there will be 200 questions serially numbered from 001 to 200
Each question will be followed by four responses marked (A), (B), (C) and (D) o these four responses only one will be the correct or the most appropriate response; each correct answer will get one mark. There is no negative marking

Candidate desirous of applying for DENPET 2016 is required to complete the prescribed appended at the end of this Brochure

All candidates are required to endorse attested photocopies of the following documents duly attested by Principal/Gazetted officer along with the form
