MD Bio-chemistry Admission in India



Bio-chemistry is a part of science that deals with the chemical processes of living organisms. Biochemistry is the study of structure and functions of cellular mechanisms such as proteins, nucleic acids, carbohydrates and other biomolecules concerned with biological processes such as heredity, metabolism and growth reproduction. A person who is specialized in this field is called as a biochemist. Biochemistry offers students a background in biological science and chemistry. As a result, students acquire skills in both the fields.

A bio-chemist studies about the uniqueness of organisms and their biological process.  Nowadays biochemists are engaged in several areas such as in environment, health and  agriculture. Investigation of illnesses, for instance AIDS and cancer is possible due to biochemistry. Unborn babies can also be screened for diseases due to advancements in the biochemistry field.
