Adichunchanagiri Institute of
Medical Sciences (AIMS), Mandya
was established in 1986 by the then honorable Chief Minister of Karnataka, Sri
Ramakrishna Hegde in the holy presence of Padmabhushana Dr.Sri Sri Sri Balagangadharanatha
Maha Swamiji. It aims to provide medical education to aspiring students from
rural areas. Earlier AIMS was under Mysore University and now it comes under
the purview of Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences.

near the teaching hospital and has room for future expansion. The buildings are
well-constructed with good ventilation and comfortable seating arrangements.
