M.D.(Microbiology)- Stands for
Doctor of Medicine in Microbiology. Typically, M.D.(Microbiology) is a three
year course, minimum eligibility for which is an M.B.B.S with 1 year compulsory
internship. Microbiology is the study of unicellular organisms. Subjects
studied under this degree are general microbiology, human immunology, mycology
and bacterial pathogenesis.
Basic Eligibility
For taking admission into this course a student should have completed his/her bachelor degree in relevant field from a recognized University. The duration for this program is 2 years.
